I've heard good things for both the 2nd and 3rd links.

They are both good method books as far as I've heard, I never personally used before though so I can't say much more.

yeah the third one had probably highest rank ive ever seen on amazon. not saying im so export or fanatic about amazon. lol.

third one i read. learned very little out of it that I didn't learn by using the net.

everywhere. I spend hours on end looking at the same thing. reword your searches constantly. try one word searches find a link try search with info off that link. multi searhing too. but then i did have a previous knowledge of electronics from doing it at GCSE level (UK).

i read the third one, and if i had more than $45, i would be building a guitar right now.

I had the first and still have the third on the list. I don't remember much about the first, I think it's more for assembleing from parts.
I would go with the third choice and the link that Spiggidybob has in his post. I have the second edition as he does but plan on getting the third.
