ive got one, its my first and only guitar, i bought it when i didnt know any better or any other kinds of guitars, but im happy, it plays would only get it for a first guitar though.

If you can save up to 300$ or maybe a little bit more, you can get yourself an Epiphone SG Standard / G-400.

A G-400 costs barely any more than a Special or G-310, and yet is about the same quality as (arguably better than) an Epi LP Standard. Really, there shouldn't even be a choice; the G-400 is so much better than the others, and barely costs any more. You'd be stupid to buy anything less.
