so i need a new amp
i got a esp kh 602 and some effects(sig)

i play stuff from metallica, motörhead and Dream Theater(and stuff from JP's Solo album).... and some rock

i dont play in a metal/rock band
i just going to play in a school band which plays jazz and some rock

and should i get a full stack/half stack or a combo? ( i would save more money for the cabs)
i got about 1000euros( i can get more...)

which amp should i get?
Im thinking of the Marshall JCM 800 heared good things about it
or is there something similar?

judging from what you play, i'd recommend you try out the Peavey JSX. i don't have experience with it myself, but i've heard a lot of good things... (it comes in combo and head version, btw). JCM800 sounds good too (better not be intended as a practice amp though).

EDIT: cleans on those amps may not be up to snuff for jazz though. i dunno.

dont get a half stack..or a full stack if your going to be taking ur amp places. GET A COMBO.

More importantly, get a TUBE combo.

Jazz cleans and brootalz typically don't mix, though I've heard the b-52at series is alright for both. I'd definitely try the head and combo versions.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

forget the jazz thing
just fix on the bands i listen to

and i want a tube combo but i dont know which

EDit: nvm... dude you can get some nice stuff with ~1450 USD.

Including fender tube amps, as well as some lower-cost marshalls (DSL 40w combo)

Good? With 1000 or so, there are amps that sound a lot better for what you're interested in. The Laney TT50C, Orange Rocker 30, or the Engl Screamer, to name a few.
You Don't Need a halfstack.

You Don't Need 100W.

if ur amount roughly equals $1450 USD (not quite sure if that's rite) then you could afford an RM50 combo amp + two modules.

if you don't know what i'm talking about, google Randall MTS and read all up on that bad boy. best amp i've played so far. oh yea and i own it...

seriously tho, look it up
