I've been wanting a whammy bar forever, but I change tunings frequently and I don't want to have to spend days just because I wanted to play a song in Drop C.
No, I don't want to buy 5 guitars.

Is there anything else besides a Strat trem? They aren't br00tal enough for me
What about Kahlers? Steinbergers?

Get a Wilkinson. They've got an extended range, but they don't lock.

strat trem is the easiest to deal with... and if set up properly, can make the strings go slack, and raise the pitch a whole step, with out going out of tune.
