i usually dont come to the pit for homework help, but...

anyone read heart of darkness by joseph conrad? im writing an essay on it and i need a few quotes from it.

problem is, i dont have a copy of the book with me.

i need a few quotes that show how the isolation had effected kurtz, how it made him go mad, and some quotes that show the effects of the 'darkness' on marlow

any help is appreciated.
I don't have the book on hand, but read the parts where Kurtz is talking to Marlow before he dies. That's the most information you can get about Kurtz, and it's vital to the story.

For Marlow, the references of him being affected by the darkness are scattered throughout the story. You just have to find passages showing that. It shouldn't be that hard.
