out of those three amps which will sound the closest to a marshall plexi? Im looking for a 60's, 70's British rock sound and also a blues sound.

Thats though because you want a Plexi sound without buying a plexi. I own the JVM and an 800. The 800 is very unplexi like. The Green mode on the JVM crunch channel is the same siginal path of the MKll Reissue. Its as close to a plexi as you can get. From those 3 choices.

I would just buy a 100 watt 1959 Super lead

The Vintage Modern is out in left feld. Totally new sound.

really? I though the vintage modern was supposed to sound like a the amps from the 60's and the 70's?

and no im not getting a real plexi, since they cost like 3 grand and you have to crank it all the way up to get distortion

which JCM800 do you have? A two channel? Because I own an old 2203 and it sounds VERY similar to an older JMP
