Yeahhh.. I did that a few months ago.

Not dangerous really, but can affect the guitar's tone if you change the low e, a, g, and d string..

Which string are you changing?

Yeah,ummmm not wise on your part it will sound like ****...and it won't stay tuned

your biggest problem is tuning, and maybe the gauge won't be the same, but the difference in tone is negligable, and barely noticable. definatly not enough to really care about.

I dont knw but I always put Electric Guitar strings on my acoustic....I love their warm sound and I hate the 4 bass of Acoustic strings....

It is safe, it wont hurt anything. I cant say id recommend it tonewise though.
