It wasn't bad, but it doesn't really sound good enough to justify the price of those amps, mostly due to the crappy camera/mic recording it. I'd love to hear what it actually sounds like.

Sheesh, thats nothing.

Try a Roadking + Mark IV at about 1/2 each...thats just my rig. The other guitarists I have jammed with usually use a 5150, triple recto, or B-52 at100 stack.

As far as the sound goes, I'd actually say the camera mic does that tone justice. It's 2 of the dryest amps on the market, that camera mic didn't do that bad of a job. Needless to say, i skeeted everywhere.

True, I'd imagine it's loud, but I was playing in a *very* small room

This is usually in a garage (tons of reverb). Not to mention our 8,000watt PA.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Meh. Horrible imo. Very mushy without a lot of definition, and it sounded very fuzzy. That must be awful in a band setting. Not only that, but the amp's own tones were totally lost in the process.

i just ordered a esp guitar cause I am getting back into metal, and I've been searching for a good tone....all I got to say is does anyone have any paper towels to clean up the mess I just left? That was even taken with a ****ty sounding mic? Fantastic high gain tone
