So I figured this might be a long shot but does anybody know how to change the AGP transfer rate on a locked motherboard (one that is packed with a computer like sony, gateway, dell)

I would normally do this through the BIOS but its locked so I have no idea how I would go past this.

also the mother board is from an old sony vaio and is based on a Asus P4B,

as a final note google was no help to me so I now turn to the ever helpful pit

So the mobo is password protected? Just reset it my removing the Coin Cell Battery on the mobo for 30 seconds then replacing it.

The mobo would then reset its self
