if you put it on while it's still wet then yes...

You can always trust there will be someone with something pointless to say. No it won't come off per se. Though i will probably flake. I think you would just buy a new strap in the color you want.
Guess what scale this song is in and I'll give you an eCookie.

i thought it was a genuine post tbh. He was stating the obvious in a normal way, please don't flame

On topic, if you use the right kind of paint i don't think it will rub off onto the guitar.
You might wanna try going into the customizing forum on here, they might be able to help you alot better.

How dare you

Anyway, you'd have to be careful which type of paint you use as most won't stay on a strap made of the usual fabric, leather etc. And I agree that you should just buy a new strap unless the colour you're looking for doesn't exist or something.

The paint will dry and make your strap all stiff and inflexible. The pain will also probably rub off onto your guitar and/or clothes. I suggest you get a new one, perhaps a cheap plain white one. Then you could dye it with a proper colourfast dye.

Buy some fabric dye (most supermarket and stuff will have it) in the colour of your choice. Follow the instructions, replacing 'clothes' with 'strap'.

I'd imagine it'd rub off.

Depends on the fabric and the paint, really. Do a test on something with similar material?

Dude I got these strings the other day that couldn't be tuned to higher than 4 octaves below middle C then I realized that they were shoelaces and they weren't making any sound at all.
