I'm sure this thread has been done many many times before... the same names always show up. Just quickly, it's things like:
Jimmy Page
Jimi Hendrix
Bob Dylan
Joe Satriani
Steve Vai
Flea
Keith Moon
Joey Jordison
Corey Taylor
Serj Tankian
someone will inevitably suggest Synyster Gates

etc etc.

Cliff Burton
Trivium's Drummer (don't know his name)

Yeah so pretty well a fuse of Metallica and Trivium.

Vocals: Randy Blythe (LoG)

Double Lead gutar: Steve Vai, Ingveigh Malmsteen <--SP?

rythym guitar: Karl from Nile

Bass: bassist from nile

drums: drummer from nile

as you can see i like nile but i'm bad with names
#8
Aw I missed off people like:

Kirk Hammet
Bruce Dickinson
Dave Murray
someone will suggest Amy Lee in a brief moment of insanity
then someone will suggest Axl Rose or Slash and a Guns N Roses related argument will ensue
then some guys will come in and suggest some prog metal guitarist and vocalists that the majority haven't heard of
and eventually it'll turn into a genre bash.

In the past though, the recurring vocalist seems to be Serj Tankian. Which I find pretty cool.

Edit: Occasionally you'll get Freddie Mercury.

And bassists are nearly always "the bassist from..." rather than by name.

What's your problem man? We're having a good thread and you have to come in and be a dickwad. Just leave it alone; you don't have to be a ****wit all the time.

His problem (and mine for that matter) is that there's already a thread for this but people are too fucking retarded to use it. Are you really that retarded that you can't look up at the stickies before posting in a thread?

THERE IS ALREADY A THREAD FOR THIS. USE THAT ONE.

ffs.

because the stickies are there for a reason and if you don't follow the rules then the forum end up being completely cluttered and ****.

maybe our problem is that you have no idea about the rules

My point is that you shouldn't care so much about the rules. It's bad enough have strict as **** mods let alone annoying forum members who take matters into their own hands.

you don't like the way the site is run? then fuck off elsewhere. It's a privately owned website and it's run the way zappp wants it.

You want a site without rules? go to 4chan, /b/ specifically. Look how well that works for discussions.

Look at Australian Gamer's forums. They have **** all rules and the community is great. Granted it is a lot smaller.

Look, I guess we just have differing opinions. Let's leave it at that.

If you want to use the site abide by the rules, if you don't want to abide by the rules leave the site.

It's as simple as that.
