Hey UG,

I have been having some pain in my thumb when I played stretched chords. I think it is due to the neck or something. I been playing on a Ibanez RG axe, and when I do like 7th chords or something my thumb feels so uncomfortable behind the neck.

I am not sure if its my Wizard II neck or what... but I have tried adjusting the truss rod a bit. Thanks if anyone can help!

Try putting your thumb in the middle of the neck, and loosen up.
You don't need tightness, as it can result in strain and RSI.
I got RSI from tightness and I'm sure you wouldn't want it too. :/
