what are your thoughts on this guitar?

other than that it is neck heavy.

Its not as neck divey as the T Bird, and I personally like the neck a lot. Reminds me somewhat of a Fender neck.

The P90 pickups are plunk right in the middle of a humbucker and single coil tone/timbre wise.

They're....Great!

Yeah, I played a Fender-ish guitar and the switch to a Mahogany guitar was very dramatic.

Good distortion and cleantone.

From what i've experiencedfrom an un-setup Firebird was that it was pretty nice. Of course, I didnt really know much about guitars and feel, i just played it.

Um, I'm pretty sure the Epi version has normal humbuckers. And the Gibson has mini-humbuckers, so I don't see how you're getting P-90s out of this......unless you know something I don't...
