hahah thank you guys.. Yeah Chris, I spent like 4 hours mixing the drums, they turned out pretty good, haha.. the bass was midi bass quantized with reverb, I figured that this song needed reverb.

Thanks but I'd really like some advice on what to work on, any flaws in that song pointed etc.

i thought it was a bit bass heavy, maybe you could add some guitar parts more on the treble side?

Wow... lots of cool stuff here! Nice and heavy riffs and the drum programming is awesome. The clean guitar sounds a bit out of tune/sloppy. Maybe you could add there some reverb or chorus. Also, I'd suggest investing in a better orchestra plug-in, 'cause the one you have now sounds a bit stale. Otherwise, good job!

I just used my synthesizers for the "orchestra".. usually I use Tascam Gigastudio orchestra with Vienna Symphonic Library samples but this song didn't need realistic sounding orchestra plus I was really lazy that day.

Also, I did add reverb and chorus on the clean guitar, maybe it sounds out of tune because I grab the fret too sloppy..

Thanks for the crit mate

type as i listen:

sounded bluesy in the beginning :-D

awesome quality, the drums sound wonderful!!! as well as the guitar

for the drums though, idk if its live or a machine (sounds live, bass drum got off in some parts)- but in the intro beat, hit the cymbal with the snare as well, it seems empty in some part. also i think there should be a much more fluid beat, seems to go on and off, takes away from the song i think

the clean part is awesome, good quality as well.

the keyboard parts are very good, maybe have more of it. the little chorus thing was intersting lol.

overall it was fun to listen too, maybe make it longer though :-D

dude, what about an actual solo in death metal instead of that poof from linkin park. Think of Pulse of the Maggots - Bed Of Razors

The drums are live, I play them, the reason I didn't hit the snare in the intro is because it was an intro I wanted to go into this headbanging effect with the snare after 4 bars..

Anyway, thanks, going to your thread .

I really really REALLY enjoyed that man. The whole thing was bad ass.
The riff was really catchy for me and the symphonic parts didn't detract from the guitar work at all like some songs tend to do. I liked towards the end how the crunch riff and the clean riff and the synth all came together. My only suggestion would be for a longer fade out at the end, but that's getting nit-picky, lol.
I'll swing back in after my next crit and check out the rest of your work
Rock on man!

Wow....

You need a Live Symphony, seriously, I love your stuff man...

Criticism... More melody, maybe, it was a little bass heavy as said above...
