i plan on purchasing a fender baja tele.
i´ve played strats and les pauls exclusively up til now.
i´m looking for a twang monster of a guitar that gives me that old rockabilly/country sound .
i mean the american vintage 52 tele would be the best for that but i cannot afford spending so much money.
So my question is: how is that tele and does it deliver that classic twang country tone?

i got a 50's classic reissue....i dont think the Baja comes with the 3 saddle pickup...or brass saddles. That will make a big difference in thae twang if i use the bridge pickup on my tele it gives out some pretty good twang

I've played tha Baja once, it was real comfy and nice to play, I can't remember if it had the 3 bridge or 6, but if it makes that much of a difference its easily changed.
