How do you get from the canadian mainland to Vancouver Island?

Is there a bridge or something??
Or do you have to get a boat?

IDK?!

You take the ferry, but I assume there isn't much to do on the island, seeing as I've been living here for about 13 years and haven't been there once... Despite it being so close, haha.

edit: Whoa, you're from the UK. Coming for a visit perhaps?

Haha, well as a matter of fact yes, I am planning a visit, but not for a LONG time.
In about 2 years I think.
Im hopeing to get onto this Camp America programme thats being run here in the UK that my dad and uncle did when they were in Uni. Im not going to be in Uni for another 2 years as im only just coming to about the end of my AS levels.
But im already wanting to go there.
Mainly cos I know some people on Vancouver Island as well!

Which helps

Swim
Cross the English Channel

I can barely keep myself afloat with armbands on while im in a 3 ft deep padeling pool!
I highly doubt I could swim across to Canada, however cheaper it would be
