i was unhappy to find that my new Gibson SG doesn't fit in my fender case. So, I'm wondering, how much would a hard shell case - that an SG can fit in properly - cost? im willing to buy new or used.

also, i would like a well-made and well designed one, and google couldn't find me one. I found this: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Musicians-Gear-SG-Hardshell-Case?sku=545175&src=3SOSWXXA which seems to not be very well made, due to the low

will stores that dont sell gibson products have SG style cases? any help would be appreciated.

Get you a universal Coffin Case. I have one, and I've fit a Les Paul style guitar, an SG, and a Strat. Should work for you, and they look pretty sharp, too. I think they run about 100 bucks. Maybe more, maybe less, depending on which one you get.

Did you buy your SG from GC?

Get the Epi case and spraypaint over the logo if you have a problem with it. The case is just as good as the Gibson case, and it's half the price.
Telecaster - SG - Jaguar
Princeton Reverb, Extra Reverb
P-Bass - Mustang Bass
