hey guys im deciding between
the ibanez AW40 ECE cutway, tuner and semi acoustic

or

the ibanez AW800 no cutaway, no tuner and not semi acoustic

Is there any disadvantages from having a semi acoustic?

thanks

its an acoustic electric. meaning an acoustic guitar, with an electric pickup.

semi hollows and such are different, just clearing that up for you.

i like a cutaway in a guitar. a tuner, i guess if you dont have one. but most people do.

edit: not sure about pricing out of the US, but usually ibanez are too expensive in this area. also look at alvarez, and washburn guitars.

in addition, any acoustic guitar can me made acoustic/electric with the addition of an after market pickup. some of which, are just plug in and play.
sometimes going that route is more economical.
