I just got my RR1 today and holy crap! I love this guitar! The quality and craftsmanship on this guitar is amazing. By far the best guitar I have ever played. The pickups sound awesome, they pick up everything with ease, Im stunned at the difference between the SD pickups and my stock pickups on my ibanez. The neck, amazing, it has a perfect feel to it, although the neck is a lot wider than my ibanez, it still feels really great. The RR1 sustains forever, which kind of blew me away because Im not used to a guitar that sustains like this one. And the looks are beautiful, especially the binding and the MOP inlays on the neck and headstock.

The only bad thing about this guitar was the chip on the body and the case it came with. The chip is on the top of the V, but isnt really that noticeable. The case seems, rather, cheap too. Oh well though it came with the guitar and it will do the trick for me.

Overall I am floored by this guitar. By far the best investment I have made. Anyone that is looking for a V shaped guitar should definatly look into jackson guitars. I know that from now on I will be a jackson player for life.

Congrats on the sweet guitar man.

How thin is the neck, if you don't mind me asking?

The neck is pretty thin which I like, but it is thicker than my ibanez RG. So to me it feels more comfortable than the Ibanez. Also, the neck seems a lot wider than my Ibanez too, which will take some time getting use to.

I honestly don't think anything beats a Jackson USA neck.

I played a few SL1's a while back ago in Riverside, and I have to say the neck blew my mind. For shred, they'd be my first, and only, choice.

Details: Its still a U, or C, profile, that is, the back is round. So all you flat neck lovers shouldn't go for it, but if you dig the feel of a nice smooth, fast, round neck then this is as good as it gets.

I strongly agree. It feels so much better than Ibanez RG necks to me.

TS is made of 100% Win. Congrats man.

Thanks man. Honestly I would have rather gotten a RR1 that wasnt blemished, but it was almost $600 cheaper which was right in my price range. Im going to play the **** out of this guitar haha.

It was a blemished guitar, so it was $1450. The blemish isnt that bad really, just a chip off of the top part of the V, which probably would have happened eventually anways.
