some bands tones i like: All That remains, Trivium, blink-182, avenged 7fold, Bullet for my valentine, foo fighters

basicly new metal stuff and some pop punk

Well... The tubescreamer will work for the metal (Kirk used one in metallica for a while.
I haven't listened to any of those bands, but the only pop punk tone i've ever heard was relient k's, which is horrendous. So I can't help you there.
But... The tubescreamer is usually a great boosting pedal. The OCD is more for adding some crunch on the clean channel.

As for WHAT tubescreamer model to get, depending on your budget...
Just get what you can afford. Mod later.
And if you have the cash, go for a Maxon.
