Basically, I looking into getting a Seymour Duncan SH6 in the bridge and and SH1 in the neck (I haven't decided on a middle single coil yet, so suggestions welcome), but I know very little about pickups, specifically whether they would fit in the guitar (F-spacing or something? I get lost here).

Anybody know whether they would go? I play metal (power, melodic death, thrash), hard rock, classic rock mainly, so need something fairly versatile for the middle pickup.

Thanks in advance

I'd actually forget Duncans completely. Stick a set of Swinesheads in it, for maximum versatility go Warthog bridge, Spotlight middle and Condor neck....for a more metal orientated set go X-bucker bridge, Dragonfly middle and Runaway or even Warthog neck.

I just don't see it as a neck pickup myself, and I think it's too trebly for the bridge given the styles he's mentioned, but that's just me
