I need to upgrade my amp but dont know which one to get, currently i am using the Line 6 Spider II 30 Amp and need something better and that i wont get tired of... I am only looking to spend $500-$700. any suggestions?

That's a good budget.
what's your playing style, what kind of tones are you looking for, what guitar are you running through it, what pedals do you have, etc?

Honestly, i'd look into peavey classics.
They're a very good versatile amp. If you have an OD + High output humbuckers, and some EQing, you can get metal. And on it's own, it has fantastic cleans and great bluesey and rockin overdrive.

If you want a more focused amp, look into a fender blues deluxe/deville for cleans.

I'm gonna need more info before I can recommend more.

And make sure to buy used, it's so much more worth it that way.

Randall RG50TC or B-52 AT112. Either of those should do you for metal. You could also look for a used Peavey 5150, but I don't know if that would be in your price range or not, and the cleans aren't the greatest.
