What are some good jazz guitar songs that are good for someone just getting into jazz (played metal guitar for 3 years, expanding my horizons)
dont start off on the wrong foot, get a teacher who knows jazz and has played it for years. you cant just learn jazz by learning songs, it takes a lot more than that

Fender Standard Tele (with kill-switch)
PRS SE Custom
Fender Hot Rod Deville
Boss DD-3 Delay
Boss GE-7 Eq
Boss DS-1 distortion
Electro-Harmonix Big Muff
Boss CS-3 Compression
Digitech Whammy
Dunlop ZW-45 Zakk Wylde Signature wah
yeah, in my opinion, maybe it works b/c the resources are available to me, but when i play any stuff lk that, i find it easier to have a horn playing something along w/ a drummer and preferably a bass, and then improv
maybe listen to some pat metheny, joe pass, john coltrane(i know he doesn't play guitar), django reinhardt or zawinul.
django reinhardt is a legit jazz guitarist.. his stuff is sweet. give him a listen man
