Please don't tell me I'm the only one that clicked this thread thinking I would learn how to make my guitar sound like a grizzly bear.

Schecter Damien 6 is a good bet.

This is UG, we love Schecters and Ibanez and Jacksons, we hate Deans and BCR's, we hate Marshall MG's, and everyone needs a new amp.

My RG370DX is turning out to be an amazing investment - with new pickups, it still sounds brilliant through the Mark IV. The neck is great and it has quality wood - the only weak spot is the Edge Pro II trem, but I don't even use the whammy bar that much. It stays in tune just fine, even with whammy bar use, but supposedly they wear out quicker than the Edge Pro and other higher quality Ibanez trems.

Cost me about $350 when I bought it brand new, and I've since put about $220 worth of pickups and better quality electronics in it so it sounds much better than stock Japanese RG's. I got it about 3.5 years ago.

So far I got my eye on the Schecter Damien 6. It looks really good but I wanna try it first. You guys think I could get a whammy bar installed on it?

Shell out the extra dough and get a Damien FR instead.

I dunno how FR work BTH

And it looks like it would be the exact same price with or without a FR
