Firstly, I'm new to the forum, so howdy \m/(-.-)\m/

When I first started playing guitar, a friend gave me a guitar, it was a Vintage VHE100 series, and all the ones I've seen looking through the internet have a Cherryburst or Gloss Black finish. The one I had was blue.

That's a picture of the guitar in Cherryburst. Have any of you seen a blue one or do you think this was a custom paintjob?

I remember it was really tasty for blues/rock and want another one (the dude took it back ). If I can't find it, I'll probably just get the one in the picture and have it refinished.

Have you checked the company's website? If its not on there, then its probably discontinued and if you can't find one then you don't have much of a choice but to get it refinished.

Thanks for the reply.

The closest I can find in the way of a website is a site devoted to vintage (classic, not the brand) guitars.

I think I'll just have to have it refinished.

I have a VHE100 and it is blue. I haven't seen another one since. As you say, they are all black or cherryburst now. I think they may have been discontinued. Nice, powerful guitar though
