i have a ltd viper 400 and id like to put the emgs in my dk2m. but the dk2m has a floyd rose and the ltd is a a hardtail. would those pickups work? or do i need f spaced pickups?

Not to hard just find a diagram. You have to be competent at soldering though.

Yes, you need to change out the pots as well. In some applications, the input jack as well. most passives run off of 250K or 500K pots, I believe the actives use 25K pots.

Well if you buy a "kit" it will include the pickups and all the stuff you need. They usually include short and long pots. What specific pickups were you looking at? Do you have a link?

Well you need to pull everything then. If your EMG's in your ESP have the quick connects, you will not even need to solder. You will just disconnect the wires at the pickup, remove the pots and input jack, and put them in your jackson
