I'm outta here! Peace all.

I'm just curious if any of you like the grateful dead? they're probably my favorite band and I just can't get enough of the way they blend blues, jazz, rock and psychedelia.

if any of you want to hear a version of hard to handle that will make you forget the black crowes ever did it, check this track out! the groove the band gets into towards the end blows my mind every time.

^If you like the grateful dead, a must have album for anyone is Live/Dead. the Dark star on that one is so awesome. it's probably in my top 10 album list. I'm gonna go listen to that right now.

I've never really heard much of the Grateful dead, but they seem pretty awesome from what I have heard.

I know that Logan likes the Dead a lot. I like them a little bit, but some of their music gets kinda boring after a while. Also, some of their music is a little strange. All in all, they're a pretty good band though, every talented.

For my account? It's not really like myspace cause you gotta be friends with the person before you can see their account, unless you are in the same network (school, city ect)

that was random. I use it on my ring finger. I tried pinky but it didn't work so well, I had less control.

How do you play slide on the 1st finger? Then you can't mute behind the slide

I use my pinkey... thats probably because my other fingers are too fuckin fat to put my skinny crap slide on

Yeah, but I thought that if you don't mute behind, then you can get unwanted buzz and noise from the strings behind the slide. That's just what I've heard. I'm horrible at slide though

Well, I use my 3rd finger, or pinky.
Mostly pinky now. I am getting far more control than at first. I used to use my first but I slowly found that I had very little control. Third finger is best for control, however if you want to incorporate bends and stuff into your playing, you kinda need to have it on your pinky.
