if i were you id try it, starting on low levels and working your way up, because it is a guitar pedal, but it would still most likely work, unless you blew the amp... But it probably wouldn't sound very good anyway.

Personally I like using Big Muffs on bass, but I also use bass Distortion pedals, when I want low end...... just a thought.....
