Right now, the mesa triaxis and 20/20 poweramp that I ordered are en-route, and was befuddled as to what cabinet I should get to go with them. I could concievably upgrade to a simul-2:90 poweramp sometime in the future, so I think its more likely that i'll get a 4 x 12 rather than (1 or 2) 2 x 12's. I'll need something that can handle the versatility of the triaxis, as well as sounding good for all types of styles. Price isn't really an issue

here's what I've been thinking of so far...

Soldano Lucky

VHT Deliverance
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/VHT-Deliverance-412-Guitar-Cab?sku=600230

Engl Pro XXL
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Engl-Pro-XXL-240W-4x12-Guitar-Extension-Cabinet?sku=600317

Mesa Stiletto (Straight)

-Unfortunately, the only amp I've been able to find around town was the Deliverance, which had great bottom end, but didn't give me the best cleans, and an o.k. midrange

Anyone who has played these cabinets, has a better one to reccomend, comment away; i'm in the dark right now!

Those all seem like good choices, but here's a couple others to consider. These are the best sounding cabs I've ever heard:

checked out tone tubbys, looks great; maybe 2x12 alnico and 2x12 ceramic cabinet stack. It sucks that its a 4 week ordering time though

Yeah, I have a 2X12 w/ one each. Call Scott at South Valley Vintage Amps:
http://www.svvintageamps.com/

He's Tone Tubby's biggest US dealer, I'm pretty sure. He can put a cab together & ship usually in 24-48 hrs.
If you want, he can split the input jacks for you. My 2X12 has 3 speaker inputs:
8 ohm running the alnico 30W only
8 ohm running the ceramic 30W only
16 ohm running both together

Although engl's prices are going down in the US, you're still paying a bit more for it to just say Engl on the front.

I'd look at splawn, port city, tone tubby, mills acoustics, mesa, or bogner for cabs.
