can you talk in complete sentences?
What do you need to build an amp?
switches, pots, wire, turretboards, tube sockets, tubes, chasis, head, resistors, transformers, knobs, faceplates, jacks, rotary switch, fuse, pilot light...

everything can be found at the places above if you
1. write a sentence actually punctuated
2. put in a little effort and not expect someone to link you to every part of the amp you build

Oh crap!!! I was wondering why my home made amp did not work. I totally forgot about the pilot light!!! no wonder it just sat there and did nothing.

good luck with getting it cheap. If you're in this to build an amp cheap, it won't turn out well

and i'm almost 100% positive that the pilot light would not affect whether or not your amp works. i had a blown light on my fender for awhile and nothing was changed except sometimes i forgot to turn it off

If you want to make a cheap amp, find old (possibly broken) tube radios, and get parts from there. If you're buying new parts, don't expect it to end up costing less than an equivalent factory made amp.
#18
Or you could use old TV tubes. This guy built an amp out of old tv tubes. He called it the F'ing F'er (spelled out of course). I would post the link but I am sure I would get reported

You were already given links to some of the best amp supply places on the internet but seeing as you are coming off as a complete moron you may as well not bother. I wouldn't trust you building a sandcastle.

Google is your friend.

But seriously, what experience with electronics do you have? Unless you get a kit and follow instructions step by step, I seriously doubt you can build your own amp.

Listen to us. Type in complete sentences. Use proper grammar. You just might get some nicer responses if people here think you have even an ounce of intelligence.

i do not have a whole lot of experience building amps. i want to buy a kit to build it. where can i find a kit?
#34
are you ****ing kidding? click on the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th,8th, and 9th links i JUST POSTED. they all have kits
