What do you think would be louder, a 50w 112 Atomic Amp (tube-powered) with a POD X3 in front of it, or a 120w 112 Roland JC-120 (solid-state) with a Metal Zone in front of it?

Edit: Whoops, sorry. Wrong Section...

Definitely the atomic

The atomic would be louder, but both are loud enough. I had my 120W SS at 2.5 volume and the drummer told me to turn it down. I practice with it less than 1, and my parents hear it upstairs.

Thanks, because my friend had the JC-120, and I am thinking about getting an Atomic with a Pod X3 in front of it. When I showed him, he said "I don't think its gonna be as loud as our stuff." If anything, the Amp and MFX combo I'm getting should be louder.
