I've heard Faith No More categorized as Funk Metal. I hate them, though.
My all gold grills give her cold chills

Strapping Young Lad's song "Anti-Product." That aren't many bands (at least none that I know of) that combine actual death metal and funk, but that song kicks ass.

You know a music scene is fucked up when it becomes difficult to keep track of who killed who, who committed suicide and who alledgedly engaged in cannibalism.

I think I just vomited a little.
Thats like what happened when rap and metal joined forces... Kind of IS the result of that, lol. Doens't sound funky enough for me.

Infectious Grooves is kinda what I'm stabbing at, but the song I'm listening is fail and is almost hiphoppy like Faith No More... Stupid 90s bands.. It's a crappy collision of genres. Classical won and we created Melodic Death Metal, where is a good Funk Metal band?

Strapping Young Lad was the first band that popped into my head when I saw "funk metal."
My band, Escher
My progressive rock project, Mosaic

Infectious Grooves

+100

suicidal tendencies but funky, literally, the bassist and singer made the band
so it has funk, hardcore punk and thrashmetal all at once
problem is if you don't like suicidal tendencies you won't like it

or go to pandora.com, search infectuous grooves, it will play infectuous grooves, and similar bands, which would be funk bands with metal roots

Incubus is hardly metal at all.
