I didn't know they were making a new album. Is it going to be carrying on from Redeemer or will it be more like their other stuff?

They're not talking about hardcore punk, they're talking about "hardcore." It has little in common with its roots in the '80s.

Pretty much what guitarwannabe said. At the risk of being flamed beyond believe, I thought Define the Great Line was pretty awesome *raises flame shield*

I guess UG doesn't get many 13 year old girls, otherwise this thread would have 40 000 replies by now. Are they still ripping off Botch?

O' God The Aftermath is my favourite of theirs, least being Redeemer. It has some good songs like "The End of All Things Will Be Televised" and "A Small Spark Vs A Great Forest" though, but I really prefer the previous two.

I liked all Norma Jean. From when they were Luti-Kriss to Redeemer. If you don't want to listen to all of Redeemer I reccomend tese songs:

The Longest Lasting Statement

A Grand Scene for A Color Film

A Small Spark V.S. A Great Forest

Cemetery Like a Stage.

I did like O God but sounded too much like Botch. BUT OVERALL I think everyone can agree that Bless the Martry is their best work.

Also check out The Chariot. Josh Scogin's band. Really good.

Haha, I actually totally agree. I've never hated this band! (Underoath, that is.)

Martyr is the best album most definitely. it does sound a little disorganized or dirty in away however i like better then the more refined redemer album. the chariot by the way is a more respected band in my book. amazing energy and the guitar screaching is very oringinal especially in the core genre.
