What would the Push/Pull Pot accomplish in this, im thinkin of doin this but whats it gonna be used for? is it gonna be the volume or tone and when its pulled up what will it do?

any help? also im gonna get new capacitors, what microfarad should i get? my old ones dont say so should i go for 0.020µF or 0.050µF?

I'm assuming when you pull up on the pot, it will act like a switch to split the humbuckers into single coils.
I think.
Someone else needs to confirm this.

Larger capacitors will have lower cutoff frequency and sound darker in the bass setting because a wider range of frequencies is being reduced. Smaller capacitors will have a higher cutoff frequency and sound brighter in the bass setting because only the ultra high frequencies are cut.

It really only affects it when it's rolled off.
