Ive seen in a couple posts that certain pickups sound better in the neck and others in the bridge..If im right, why is this ? I just want to clarify this before i do these thing in the future.

im not sure if they sound better then each other, different pickups sound different to each other obiously.

but the diffrenece with a neck and bridge is
Bridge- lead guitar more heavier stuff
Neck- Warm and mellow

well your gonna want a more trebely one in the bridge/higher output and a more rythymy one in the neck/lower outputunless your people like kirk hmmet who has emg 81 s in neck and bridge

Yeah it also depends what kind of pickups. You can also get a lead sound from the neck pickup to.

But generally they are more mellow.
