i have a problem, on my Dean my strings are way too thick, on the top 3 strings (GBe) i find it hard to solo because the strings hardly bend, so i want to get them replaced but i have a fender strat squier and the strings are way too thin so i want them to be not to thin or thick but i have no idea about gauges could you please help me out?

It's possible that you have 11's or 12's on the dean and 9's on the strat. Also I don't know if your dean has a shorter scale length or a hardtail bridge but either will make your strings feel tighter.

Try 10's, something like 10-46.

Well my dean has a floyd, thanks so i'll ask the store for 10, (i cant string the floyd myself :P)
