Ok, so I've been a big thrash fan for the past year and a half, but I figured it is time to expand on my tastes. I've been listening to Death and Vader recently, as well as Corrosion of Conformity. I just bought 'Broken Glass' by Crowbar and I have to say it is sonically crushing. I was wondering if there are any other bands out there that are close in sound/style to Crowbar.

If you want heavy, go the Doom/Sludge route. Or go with Gojira

Yeah I know, I've listened to them and they do kick some ass. BTW, it's Crowbar's guitarist, Kirk Windstein, that's part of the band, not their bassist. The bassist is rex Brown from Pantera. I don't even own the album and I know more about them than you do.
