I mean, they've been around since the end of the 1980's (first album: 1991). They kinda have dropped off the earth for the time being, other then that Chris Daughtry thing, but their earlier stuff (especially "Throwing Copper", which I got 3 years ago and still listen to today) is definitly good.

Anyway, I thought I'd start a thread about a band that is really good and that is actually started close to me (they're from Pennsylvania I believe, I'm in NJ).

Enjoy

I liked Throwing Copper and like them because they're from my home state. They had a few other good songs as well.

I've heard all their big songs, but never an entire album. Those songs were great, though.

I had Throwing Copper back in high school. I really liked that album, but never heard anything else from them. Thanks for reminding me, I'll have to get that album again.

I heard Lightning Crashes, thinking it was Pearl Jam, nice song, but that's all.

I'm still not sure if it was a PJ cover, or does the Live singer sound similar?

I've only ever heard Lightning Crashes, and it's a great song.

I'm sure that if I gave them a chance, I would really like them.

Ah, I just got back into Throwing Copper. I don't understand how I've left such an album to collect dust for so long.
It seems to have all their good songs on it.

All Over You is a really good song too
I'm breathing so I guess I'm still alive.

their earlier stuff is way better, but they kick ass and are from like 30 minutes from me. my band was supposed to open for them on new year's eve but they cancelled.
