CBGB wants to be famous like the others such as Green Day and Offspring. They don't want to be a underground punk band.

I saw the Red Light Runners last night. Some of their stuff was really good, I wish I had bought a CD or something. Troubled Man is a sweet song and they covered The clash's White Man, making their set a lot more enjoyable.

Rancid are the best punk band ever.

Tim Armstrong is a songwriting genius, is a complete fashion diva and has an incredible singing voice.

He doesn't sound like Opie from family guy at all.

Braindead, Citizen Fish, Culture Shock
i guess Mad Caddies would fall under what you are looking for. check out their album Just One More.

But to be totally serious about things, my actual favorite third wave ska band (they're pretty underground, it might be hard to find albums) are No Doubt.

Well, apparently you did fail English class...

I believe the word you're looking for is "now".

By the time you regurgitated the bands I listed I would've thought you'd pick up on the sarcasm..

Guess not.
