Please assist! What is "RSE" in Guitar Pro 5 and what does it do?
"It's not about who has the biggest stick, it's about how hard you can swing it"
stands for Realistic Sound Engine
it creates a "realistic" sound for some instruments contained in the program.
i dont like it on the other hand, im a MIDI man
It is the " real sound engine".

Just makes the playing sound more human i guess.

not vital.
Yeah, now you're gonna die wearing that stupid little hat. How does it feel?

Help me to live.

I make custom guitar wiring harnesses and I'm pretty damn good at it!
It's supposed to deliver actual guitar an bass sounds. It's alright i guess. it gives you the option of making rythem and lead guitars sound at least a bit different.
Jackson Dinky DK2L
Epiphone LP Standard
Yamaha Acoustic
Bugera 1990 w/ Peavey 2x12 cab
It makes drums, bass, and guitar sound real, but hogs more computer RAM and CPU speed, and doesn't work well with old computers
playing both MIDI and RSE sounds at the same time may cause instrument syncing issues (or at least it does for me)
