A lot of people start out on blues/blues-based music, but eventually move on to other things.

There is a forum for it, though.

I thought metal would win.... I play mostly blues, but sometimes when I'm feeling too pissed of to play softly, I play metal.
#10
I play blues influenced vintage rock'n'roll and 80's hard rock with a twist of blues 'n country...

no metal though...i hope that counts as blues

EDIT: The main reason the blues is winning atm, is cause most metal players arent attracted to this thread cause of the title

Comparing CC to awesome that is tallica and tera aint right.

I listen to Grunge and some blues. Whenever I improv, it usually comes out bluesy sounding, probably from my limited knowledge of theory, and overuse of the pentatonics, but I'm learning!

i think i must be a natural at bluesy/classic rock type riffs.
especially when using the pentonic scale
which is why i've mainly been using the harmonic minor lately, coz it can sound either neo-classical,egyptian or flemenco like which are all good for me

I play blues sometimes, not my main genre, but they're fun to play. I never play metal so I definitely play blues more than metal.

That I do!

Come to the blues forum, we got like 6 or 7 regular people and we just chat about blues shit and you learn about new artists, and such. It's good fun.

But really, I have yet to find a genre more fun to play then blues.

And shit people, if we have so many blues players why the hell isn't the blues forum full of people??
