I've been playing about 2-21/2 years now, getting relatively good. I'm just looking for some songs with some kick ass solos that I can learn to play. Any suggestions are great, and any solos from obscure artists would be appreciated as well, as I'm trying to expand my musical horizons.

Solo's eh?

Mr. Crowley-Ozzy Osbourne

Whole Lotta Rosie- AC/DC

Communication Breakdown- Led Zeppelin

War Pigs- Black Sabbath
i like playing the solo from rage against the machine- take the power back
more solos, eh?

GnR - Sweet child
GnR - November rain
Gnr - Don't cry

^^ Very easy solos

Nirvana - Smells like teen spirit
System of a down - soil
santana - europe

Epiphone les paul standard
Peavey Bandit 112
Dunlop Cry-Baby
Well stairway to heaven has one of the best solos around in it. I guess it all depends on what songs you like. I've also been playing around 2 yrs so i have a tip. Sometimes the simpliest solos are also the funnest. I sometimes play a solo and put bits and pieces of other solos in them. Its fun. If you find some and learn to play them well you should try it out.
Les'se, Stairway to Heaven isnt too hard if you practice, the second solo in Dreams by Van Halen isnt extremely hard, either. I would also try bits and peices of solos as a builiding block for tough solos like Panama or Crazy Train.
Fermented Offal Discharge, Epitaph, The Stillborn One - Necrophagist

now go spend the rest of your life learning these
