So I've changed my pickups in my les paul, and now I'm going to change the neck pickup again. I have a dirty fingers in the bridge and a tony iommi in the neck currently, the iommi in the neck is just too muddy.

I was wondering, can you hook up pickups with a disconnect type connection?

The reason being, before I sell the iommi, I'd like to hear how it sounds in the bridege compared to the dirty fingers. I'm experimenting with pickups and don't want to re-solder each time.

Anybody try this? I was thinking of using the rubber shielded blade-type connectors.

Would this be a horrible idea?

Thanks.

look around radioshack or wherever you want a crimp on type thing

or you can just be not lazy and make 2 joints
Get off this damn forum and play your damn guitar.

If the connections on the pickups are the same I don't see why you couldn't do that.
