Fixed.

I suggest using elmer's glue. It actually works, but it'll stay in for a while, not just a day.

a fauxhawk. it's what appears to be a normal semi-short haircut that with a little gel can be turned into what appears to be a mohawk.

as you can see, it works very well, unless yours is really thin i suggest backcombing it as well.

I'd use hair mousse. It'll still shape it and leave it up but won't harden it/make it stiff looking like hair spray or gel.

bout 5 inches tall, usin elmers glue

Easy. Buzz off the rest of your hair and look like you have an actual penis, instead of a man-gina.

also, I believe proper spelling is Faux-hawk

Thats a real mohawk. A frohawk is a mohawk but without shaving the sides.

#27
wet the hair, semi dry it, gel it, comb it all into spike position, use hands to bring it to the centre. takes me about 10-15 min to do that, shower included.
#28
Fauxhawks aren't bad. I put up liberty spikes every week
#29
When I used to put my hair into liberty spikes all the time, I used hair glue, which worked pretty damn well. I use Ice Spiker, and it stands my hair right up, and dries fast before the hair has a chance to fall down.

Indeed. I hate faux hawks. Who the hell thinks that they look good??

Hawks are a pain in the ass and a lot of work. They demand time and great care. There is no quick and easy way to do it if you want it to look good and not to damage your hair. So take your time doing it. I used to use Wella Shockwaves "Tuff Stuff", but white glue works, as do egg whites, and soap as well. Also, if you blow dry it, the glue will dry quicker, and it makes it easier to put up larger hawks.
#33
mohawk >>>> faux-hawk.

A friend of mine used a combination of strong gel and glue for his foot-long mohawk

also notice the Hardcoreness difference between the images i posted.

the faux hawk image u posted is the kind that douchebags and tools have. mine is actually long, and is actually closer to the pic of the guy with an actual mohawk.

Elmers glue? Maybe sugar water... I've heard sugar water, not sure if it'll work out to your favor though.
