For casual practice and recording, the Zoom pedals aren't half bad but don't dare use them for anything live or professional. You can typically find them used at Pawn Shops or privately owned shops for under 50$. If you want something better than that or something you can buy brand new then the Behringer V-Amp II is a great buy at 100$.

I bought a Korg AX5G from Musicians Friend for $39 when they closed them out - awesome pedal for the money - beats my Zoom G2 hands down! They can be had on Ebay.
Now running an Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 10.3.3 - it's amazing and I'm having ball with it - worth every penny. PT 10 is tops IMO and the Eleven Rack is a work of art!
