It's like an overextended empty feeling you get after you were with some friends for a day and you're back at home in your room at 12:00 midnight contemplating what to do next. Well that's how I feel most of the time. A friend I had just been starting to get comfortable hanging out with, just moved away a week ago for starters. I've never had a girlfriend, or even held a minute conversation with one. I have no one else to hang out with right now. I just empty inside.

Keep you chin up about meeting girls, the more easy going your are about it, the better things seem to work out. Write some music, jam some blues, think about faith, do some things that are good for the soul. My personal favorite is to get a nice mix of hard rocking tunes, and rip my car down back road aimlessly until the music ends, the go down to the river near my house and play my acoustic after it. Works every time. Cheer up man, things will get better.

Be like me. Stay inside and play guitar all day, shunning anything that comes remotely close to bright, or dimly lit. You should also look into investing in a lampshade, those things keep the lights devilishly dim (you must get ones that are black, with red inverted pentagrams)

Or, go jump off and bridge, counting how many seconds it takes before you die.

Or, go socialize (this is the wimp option. Its like the choice 'E' on a test. The one that usually says "None of the above" which is very pussy.)

So complain about feeling empty inside, *yet* you are on the internet.

The solution to the problem is _________ ?
#22
You are depressed. Talk to somebody you know, if you don't have anyone that you feel comfortable talking honestly with then go to a school counselor or something. Just the simple act of laying out all your problems with somebody can help you feel better.

And get off the pit, this is not a happy place.

You can find a religion, and if Christianity is 'the one for you', then alright. But understand that there are many, many religions and that you can always experiment.

Inform your parents/guardians of how you feel before it worsens and inform them that you may need someone to talk with, even if it is just them. I'm sorry for the way you feel, I know personally how difficult it is.

You're damn right I don't!

We all see too many people who have problems and don't have the slightest clue what to do with themselves. Most of us ourselves have problems that we don't know what to do with. The first thing to do is acknowledge that you have problems, and then find somebody to help you with them. Sorting things out on your own does not make you stronger if you fail to sort them out.

I feel that way sometimes. I used to be pretty depressed, and had thought of killing myself, but then again, thats puberty for you. T'was a LONG ****ing time ago, and I find ways of dealing with it. Don't ever let it get that bad though, even if no one finds out about it, it still haunts you to think that if you hadn't gotten better you could be dead. My advise? Grab your iPod, Cell phone, and go for a walk. Listen to music and figure your life out. Call a friend and just talk to them. Or play guitar. I haven't had a GF either if it makes you feel any better. I'm in 9th grade, too. Don't listen to these assholes, your not a pussy, you just have a soul.

I've been taking walks for months like 4 times a week. It's like my favorite thing to do now lately. Going to a nearby park and swinging while my mp3 player blasts. But it's like empty everywhere I walk. I often daydream about walking to the park and finding some pretty girl my age doing the same exact thing as me and likes similar things to me. And then we becoming friends and being able to talk for hours.
#35
sweet dream.
make it a reality.
meet a chick that you have things in common with.
i know it's not easy. i can't really do it either lol.
i thought i did, but i wound up emotionally kicked in the jaw.
so if you do find someone, make sure its the real her.

Tell me about it, I grew up with this girl and this other dude. We were the power trio. Best friends, in the same band, same school. We were really close. The girl died of an overdose, the guy moved away after that and I have lost contact with him, and I had to move away as well.

But hey, now I've met new people, I have new friends. Its just how life is. You can't be sad about it. It happens all the time. Many people will come into your life, some will disappear but some will stay. Its just the way things work.

Also you are depressed, is there anything you have to talk about? it'll help, PM if you need someone to talk to.
#37
I had my sandwich. I put cheese and mushrooms and stuff in it. It was good.

I hope that can be of comfort to you.

On a more serious note, get a counsellor and see your doctor. Been there...it's not too fun but it'll soon pass. You'll be back to your normal sandwich-munching self in no time.
