I tried to use media monkey to organise my music and it ended up deleting a bunch of it.... has anyone had a similar experience?

No.. I use Winamp too. I feel sorry for you though.

Dammit, this is pissing me off. Anyone know and good file un deleter things?

I might have to get my friend's Zune from him. He sync's with my PC so it should be fairly recent backup.

Open recycle bin and take them out. But if the program did a good job of deleting them you won't be getting them back without downloading them again.

I downloaded itunes and it auto-converted my whole music library into a crappy bitrate of AAC, so I then converted them back into mp3 and they all had terrible bitrates. thanks apple.
After re-ripping every cd I had into flac, I'm now happy.

Anyways I had been using foobar ever since, but I just recently got sick of it and I'm using windows media player with the .flac plugin. Works great

They aren't there....

Why the **** did it delete, I asked it to organize and rename. It still says I have 11.9 GB in mediamonkey, but I can't find them.

Sounds like it moved it to another folder. Do a search on Windows Explorer for one of the missing song titles.

I just didn't update the library, they are gone. My HDD has a few more GB free now, so I am sure they are gone.

Well, why don't you just reload the deleted music using your legally purchased compact discs?
