Is it easier to tap using a guitar with high or low action? I'm assuming low, but I may be wrong

low of course, but its common sense, if its high then you'd need more effort on tapping and pulling off. if its low theres less effort for more ease
think about it, If its high then your touching the string more before its fretted, thus muting it. The lower it is the better for tapping, but in the end your technique will determine how well you can tap.
