to get the woman tone you just have to use two pickups, with the tone of the neck pickup rolled to 0 or 1

And a marshally sounding amp (valve). Then crank it's clean channel.
Not sure about EQ.

If you want a similar tone on the cheap, a vintage british voiced amp, cranked. A humbucker guitar with the neck pup tone on 1.

Digitech has an Eric Clapton Signature Pedal called the Crossroads Pedal with all of his signature tones in it

Here's a link with more information, sound clips etc.:

Yeah, I tried out that pedal.
I really didn't like it.
But, part of the proceeds (i've heard) go to the Crossroads center.
That still doesn't make up the fact that it's not that good.

I get a fairly good Sunshine Of Your Love tone out of a strat, with a Metal Muff. (Insert LOL WUT pear) Mids maxed, distortion almost all the way down, some bass. Kinda odd.

Very LOL WUT.

Atleast it'd be better than using a metal zone or something.

Quite. It's just that walloping EQ in the pedal that did it.
