im about to spend money to fix it, so this is my last attempt (ug forums heheh)

extremely slow (no virus i assure you)
the wireless card always says limited or no connectivety (im using a different computer now)


any help would be really nice

reformat the hard drive and start over. if that doesnt work, then its time to spend money.

For the slowness - open up task manager and see what's hogging your computer resources. There's probably an application, or set of applications, that are always running and chewing up CPU cycles and memory.

You can also try defragmenting your hard drive and cleaning your registry with a utility. RegHealer is one that I recall but I don't think it's free. Google is your friend here. Search for "registry cleaner".

if you have a dell, call them up and they will walk you through it. if you have another product, check if you have customer support that will walk you through it, or consult google to see the steps, and make sure you print them out, or have another computer handy. also if you are gonna reformat, make sure you have all the operating system software and drivers, etc that you will need, BEFORE you start reformatting.
